(Prepare to get one-shot a lot more often - at least until you acquire proper gear.) There are tons of new artifact types in the game now too. Weapon (and armor) variety is now broader thanks to Arsenal Overhaul (and the Outfit Addon), and the Warfighter addon and smarch config changes make weapon damage more realistic.
(The new HD models should help a bit with differentiating between factions.) Due to the increased overall randomness, you might end up in surprising or nasty situations from time to time - just keep in mind that you're nothing but a random Stalker, and the Zone does not revolve around you. NPC (and anomaly) beeps, and target identification through binoculars have also been removed, which means you will have to rely on your senses and game knowledge when it comes to dealing with the occupants and hazards of the Zone. Make sure you learn how to stay attentive about your status.
The entire HUD and most of the indicators have been completely removed - if you die suddenly, out of the blue, chances are, you have either bled out, starved to death, or died to radiation poisoning. In order to make sure the pack doesn't clash with other addons, it's best to perform a clean install on a fresh version of CoC 1.4.22. Installation: simply extract the archive and copy the files to your CoC folder. If you want an experience that revolves more around exploration than combat, try the other version of the mod with DrX Desolation and Full Simulation A-life instead of Warfare.
